StarPi is the University of Pisa student team dedicated to the design and construction of experimental rockets for the European Rocketry Challenge (EuRoC), Europe’s leading university rocketry competition. Every year, we select motivated and passionate students to strengthen our multidisciplinary team.
For 2026, we are looking for candidates for the following roles.
Flight Dynamics
Preferred requirements: knowledge of fluid dynamics, physics, and applied mechanics; skills in electronics and computer science; Python programming; use of personal PC and Microsoft Office + Google Workspace; knowledge of CFD software; knowledge of electronic filters. Not all requirements are mandatory—having some of them may be sufficient.
Additional skills required: ability to annotate and communicate transformations between reference frames (e.g., for accelerometer/IMU).
Useful skills: experience in dynamic systems analysis; interdisciplinary teamwork; problem-solving skills.
Marketing
Preferred requirements: ability to meet deadlines; use of personal PC, Microsoft Office + Google Workspace; teamwork; excellent command of Italian.
Useful skills: graphic design (Canva, Photoshop); photography or videomaking; English language skills; background in media, communication, or graphic design.
Logistics
Preferred requirements: precision; ability to meet deadlines; use of personal PC, Microsoft Office + Google Workspace.
Useful skills: knowledge of the aerospace sector; experience in event/project organization; background in economics, law, management engineering, or related fields.
